The main active ingredient of turmeric is curcumin. Turmeric contains about 3% to 8% of curcumin. The higher the curcumin concentration in turmeric, the better the quality. We source the best quality of turmeric (known in Maharashtra as 'Gathichi Halad') directly from farmers. The turmeric sticks are then processed, ground and packed in hygienic conditions to avoid any pollutants in the powder.
